What the UAI funding rate says now

Funding is positive (+0.0100% per 8 hours): longs pay shorts. Buyers with leverage dominate; the more it rises, the more expensive it is to hold a long and the more fuel there is for a long squeeze.

UAI open interest and liquidations

Open interest across exchanges is $13.5M (-9.1% in 24 hours). Over the last 24 hours $237K of longs and $44K of shorts were liquidated. Rising open interest with price means new positions are joining the move; falling open interest means positions are closing.

Why one number for all exchanges

Funding, open interest and liquidations differ from exchange to exchange, and most sites show one exchange at a time. AggPro sums them: funding is weighted by each exchange's open interest, liquidations and open interest are totals. Not investment advice.
